Forward Fundraising Campaign

2017 Was our first complete year as an official organization. We got a lot done. Barbecues in the park, a fun music filled party, holiday get togethers, a pizza party, a visioning and more.

We’ve organized a screening and roundtable of “One of Us” for our members , a guided visit to Chagall at MBAM, theater outings, workshops and more.

We’ve been nurturing a growing community.

Members have been received everything from tutoring to jobs to apartment help to gifting (furniture, bicycle, TV and even a 100 year old grand piano!). And many phone conversations, friendly ears, warm meals, and plenty of encouragement.

But we want to do a lot more. In 2018 we want to have member retreats, scholarship and project grants, hands on training for members, expanded events and meetups, and so much more.

This all takes resource. We’ve managed to accomplish a lot with the limited fundraising we’ve done to date. To properly grow and continue to provide more value to our members we can use any donation you can make.

Where would your donation go?

Expanded events and meetups.
Launching a support group.
Creating a variety of workshops.
Launching scholarships.
Supporting members’ projects.
General assistance grants.
Group outings.
Operational costs.
Getting charitable status.
And if we raise enough, setting up a “clubhouse” for members to come, with emergency housing, a permanent home, and a headquarters for Forward.

If you support our cause, of helping those who’ve left their ultra-Orthodox and Hassidic communities, with educational, integration and social support – this is a chance to help us develop as an organization and community.
