We are incredibly excited to present a screening of Leaving the Fold, a documentary about young people who leave ultra-Orthodoxy. It will be followed by a panel discussion, where we will explain who we are, why we exist, what we are doing now – and share our personal journeys on leaving the ultra-Orthodox world. This will all happen on Wednesday, September 14th 2016 at the Rialto Theater.
Leaving the Fold, directed by Eric Scott and produced by Academy Award winner Frederic Bohbot, tells the story of what it’s like to leave an ultra-Orthodox community through the eyes of those who’ve left and their families who have chosen to stay. It presents the human side of our members’ struggles.
The panel discussion will give audience members the opportunity to hear more about the people in the film and how we our organization is working to empower our members to pursue their own happiness and success.
7:00 – Doors will open.
